Getting Here

Balthali Village situated 40 km South-East of Kathmandu just beyond Khopasi. Our Home stay is Located in the middle of village. It’s local name is called Majhatole (Middle of the village). This peaceful village is surrounded by green hills and typical fields of rice. Balthali is a place where we can find a diversity of culture and nature. Its inhabitants have kept alive their traditions and their way of life since several generations. When visitors come to this village and stay with our family, they really enjoy the opportunity to meet local people and share moments with them. This village has glimpses of the snowy Himalayan peaks in the North. It offers a sunrise in the east, magnificent view of Mt. Manaslu, Langtang and Numbur in the North, immeasurable rice terraces in West, Mahabharata range green forest in the South. There are few options to get there:

1. Drive to Famous Buddhism Pilgrimage place called Namobudhha about  2 hrs then Hike to Balthali through the terraces land enjoying with Orange Gardens about 3 hrs.
2. Drive to Panauti about 1.5hrs, A historical Town then Hike from Panauti via beautiful landscape through Pine forest to Balthali about 2 hrs.
3. Mountain Biking from Kathmandu to Balthali about 3-5 hrs depends up on routes.
4. Drive from Kathmandu to Balthali direct by Private vehicle about 2 hrs.
5. Drive to Dhulikhel about 1 hrs then Hike from Dhulikhel to Balthali by exploring nature and cultural  about 3-4 hrs.
